Welcome to Queen’s Home Kitchen
For students, by students

Our Purpose:
The goal of this initiative is to bring people together and foster a sense of community by connecting through food. We wanted to start this initiative during times of physical distancing with the intent to connect in person again.
What can you expect in the coming months? We will be creating and posting content bi-weekly which focuses on three main themes: recipes, food skills & community connection.

Themes:
Recipes shared will be budget-friendly, easy and quick to make using whole foods. They will also be adaptable to various dietary needs/restrictions.
Food skill related posts will feature strategies & cooking hacks to help increase your confidence in the kitchen.
Connection: Part of the Fresh Food Box Program, we run we virtual live cooking sessions led by Queen’s Health Promotion Peer Health Educators.
